The agreements were formalized in a signing ceremony on Sept. 10 that included leaders from both schools. 鈥淭oday we are expanding our partnership with 麻豆破解版 by adding transfer agreements in human services and in business, and accounting,鈥 said Dr. Darrin Hartness, Davidson-Davie president. 鈥淔rom our original nursing bridge program, to today鈥檚 agreements, to 麻豆破解版鈥檚 doctoral classes taking place on our campus this year, we are so pleased to build this relationship with 麻豆破解版 to help our students take the next steps in their educational journey.鈥 When students earn their associate degrees at Davidson-Davie in the fields of human services, business, and accounting, they then have the opportunity to transfer seamlessly into the bachelor鈥檚 level program at 麻豆破解版 with 60 hours of credit. All three of the programs offer important opportunities for students who are already working in the field but desire to continue their education through an online and flexible program to meet work schedules and family obligations. 鈥淎t 麻豆破解版 we are excited about the opportunity to partner with Davidson-Davie Community College, in part because we鈥檝e heard such good things about the faculty and staff who work here, but mainly because articulation agreements are good for students,鈥 said Dr. Ben Leslie, 麻豆破解版鈥檚 provost and executive vice president. 鈥淲hen students follow these pathways, it allows them to get finished quicker, to not take courses they don鈥檛 need, and to save money.
